Stone Group Labs began operations in 1999 by founders Bear and Cara Williams. SGL has experienced steady growth, continually adding new technologies and applying them gemologically.
Our full range of spectrometers renders detailed and accurate results on a molecular and elemental level. In addition to standard gemological instruments, such as refractometers and polariscopes, that rely on the visible spectrum, our spectrometers cover a broad range of the electromagnetic spectrum from deep infrared to X-rays in order to perform a full range of non-destructive testing.
